How is this medication used?

Shake the bottle gently before use. Blow your nose gently. Keep your head upright and insert the nozzle into one nostril. Close the other nostril with your finger. Spray once or as prescribed while breathing in through the nose, then breathe out through the mouth. Repeat in the other nostril as directed. Avoid spraying the medication into your eyes or onto the middle of the septum.

What are the possible side effects?

The most common side effects include nasal dryness or irritation, headache, nausea, sore throat, and nosebleed.
