How is this medication used?

The usual dosage is 4 drops instilled into the affected ear twice daily for 7 days. Make sure to follow your healthcare provider's instructions. Do not use in the eyes or take by mouth. Wash your hands before and after use. Lie down or tilt your head so that the affected ear faces up. After applying the drops, remain in this position for about 5 minutes to allow the medication to penetrate the ear.

What are the possible side effects?

Side effects can include ear discomfort, itching in the ear, fungal ear infections, and a sensation of fullness in the ear. Some people may experience allergic reactions, although this is rare.
