Clobetasol Cream

How is this medication used?

Apply a thin layer of clobetasol cream to the affected skin areas twice daily. Gently rub in. Do not cover with a bandage or dressing unless instructed by your doctor. Use strictly as directed. Avoid using on face, groin, or armpits unless directed by a healthcare provider.

What are the possible side effects?

Possible side effects include skin irritation, dry skin, burning or stinging sensation at the application site, discoloration of the skin, thinning of the skin, stretch marks, and hair growth at the site of application. Prolonged use can lead to additional side effects such as adrenal suppression.

What are the potential interactions?

Clobetasol cream may interact with other topical medications. Avoid using it with other corticosteroids or treatments unless advised by your doctor. Inform your doctor about all medications you are currently using to prevent potential interactions.
