Flarex Eye Drops

How is this medication used?

Use Flarex eye drops exactly as prescribed by your doctor. Typically, the drops are applied to the affected eye two to four times a day. The dosage and length of treatment depend on the condition being treated and the patient's response to therapy. Wash your hands before using the drops. Avoid touching the dropper tip to keep it clean and to prevent eye infection.

What are the possible side effects?

Possible side effects of using Flarex eye drops include, but are not limited to, temporary blurred vision, mild stinging or burning upon application, sensitivity to light, eye redness, and a feeling of having something in the eye. More serious side effects can occur and should be reported to a doctor immediately, such as severe pain in the eye, vision changes, or signs of eye infection (e.g., discharge, extreme redness, swelling).

What are the potential interactions?

Flarex eye drops can interact with other medications, especially other eye drops or eye medications. Using Flarex with certain other steroids can increase the risk of side effects. Inform your doctor about all medications, supplements, and eye products you are currently using to avoid potential interactions.
