How is this medication used?

To use Tobrex eye ointment, wash your hands first. Tilt your head back and pull down the lower eyelid to make a pouch. Apply a small amount (about 1 cm) of ointment into the pouch. Gently close the eyes and move the eyeball in all directions to spread the ointment. Try not to blink and do not rub the eye. Repeat these steps if your dose is for more than one strip of ointment. Wash your hands after applying the ointment.
