Zoryve Foam
Zoryve foam (roflumilast 0.3%) is a steroid-free topical PDE-4 inhibitor in foam form, used to treat seborrheic dermatitis and plaque psoriasis of the scalp and body. The foam formulation spreads easily on hair-bearing areas, reducing inflammation, scaling, redness, and itch without topical steroids.
How is this medication used?
Apply the foam to the affected areas of the scalp, face, or body once daily and rub in completely. Wash your hands after applying unless treating the hands. Avoid open flames or smoking during and immediately after application, as the foam is flammable.
What are the possible side effects?
Common side effects include headache, diarrhea, nausea, and mild application site reactions such as irritation or itching. Most side effects are mild because absorption through the skin is limited.
What are the potential interactions?
Although absorption is low, strong CYP3A4 inhibitors (ketoconazole) or combined CYP3A4/1A2 inhibitors (fluvoxamine) could raise roflumilast levels in the body. Tell your doctor about all medications you use, including other scalp or skin treatments.
